Testimonials:

"I really enjoyed the "Write Loudly" class, it was intimidating at first, everyone is so talented, but it helped me to get the creative juices flowing , in a great and productive way. I took out of the class a lot of insight that will help me continue to write and hopefully get published, since taking the class I have had  a poem published in The Southwick Suffield news, and a short story in The West Springfield Record. I am very excited at where this has taken me so far, and hope it is just the beginning!"  Cindy

"We come from all walks of life: teacher, nurse, retired Ombudsman, bank employee, Medicaid Fraud investigator, administrative assistant, unemployed marketing coordinator and yoga instructor.  The one thing that we all have in common is the desire to write.  We are storytellers, drawing from our real life experiences or ones conjured by our imaginations.

As a group, we eagerly look forward to the two hours every week when we gather around the table to read aloud our homework assignments and offer critique and praise.  I am amazed, time after time, how one writing prompt can generate so many different stories.  Everyone in the room has made the eight week commitment to show up and participate, whether in an effort to see their work in print or simply to hone their craft.

Our instructor's enthusiasm is infectious as she challenges us to break out of our respective comfort zones.  Novelists become short story writers and poets tackle writing dialog.  Those that invest the energy, reap the benefits...with publishing credentials to prove it.

Personally, I have found a way to fill a creative void that surfaced after the birth of my daughters.  Juggling a career, family, finances and a home has been rewardingly draining.  At the end of the day, I had nothing left in the tank for me.  That all changed when I read the ad for an adult writing class.  I think that our members personify a need to reconnect with our communities and shared passions."  Nicole

"Write Loudly classes have helped me to be a better parent and a better nurse. I have this creative outlet now that allows me to feel like I am growing as a person even if my jobs seem rather boring and repetitive. I need to be in this class. Sera is a very dedicated teacher- the exercises she gives us to do are professional grade assignments, yet they are completely doable. I love her class and recommend it to anyone who loves to write."  Theresa
