Feet In Motion Dance Program

Fall 2010

This dance program is for children three years of age and older. It is designed to introduce participants to the world of dance while providing an enjoyable interactive experience with their peers. The program is scheduled for two sessions per year. The fall session runs September 7th - December 18th (14 weeks), and the winter/spring session runs January 3rc - June 17th 2011 (21weeks), ending with a dance recital. While your child may join either session at any time, (fee will be pro-rated), please remember that your child must be registered at the beginning of the winter/spring session to participate in the recital.

Registration fee of $15.00 is due to your child's instructor at the time of the first class.

Costumes

Once costumes are ordered, you are responsible for all balances. There are no refunds.

Ages 2-6                    $55.00

Ages 7-11                  $60.00

Ages 12-Adult           $65.00

Attire for dance class

Students must wear something in which they can move freely and feel comfortable. Hair must be pulled back away from face.

Appropriate shoes

Acro - barefoot

Tap - tap shoes

Ballet - ballet shoes any color

Jazz and Lyrical - Half soles, ballet or lyrical shoes

Director: Ms. Amy Bouchard: Amy has been the director of Feet in Motion for the last ten years. She has been studying dance since the age of three and is the former owner of the Dance Workshop. She has studied at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC as well as being certified under Dance Educators of America.  With 23 years of experience, she is at the YMCA to provide a wonderful program where children can express themselves through the art of dance.
