Camp Shepard

Registration for Summer 2025 opens Monday, February 17, 2025.

Camp Shepard Day Camp is a 8-week program designed to make sure youth have the best summer ever! Campers will establish everlasting friendships each day while having an outdoor education experience. Our goal is to provide a new, safe, and fun experience for all ages and to allow our campers to have the best summer ever! View our 2025 Camp Brochure to learn all about our program.

YMCA Camp Shepard is located at 370 Northwest Rd, Westfield, MA. Less than five miles from the center of Westfield. Situated on 105 acres of woodlands, Camp Shepard provides the opportunity to grow, learn and appreciate the great outdoors in a respectful way.

Registrations can be processed at the Reception Desk of the YMCA of Greater Westfield located at 67 Court Street in Westfield, MA. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sessions may fill up, so reserve your child’s spot for each session by making a deposit. Turn in your completed registration packet, a deposit to secure your camper’s spot, all health forms, and immunization records. Contact the Camp Director with any questions at (413)568-8631. All of the programs at the YMCA of Greater Westfield are open to everyone regardless of town of residence.

PAYMENT POLICY, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: A non-refundable $75 deposit is required to secure a spot in each session at Camp Shepard. Deposits are not transferrable session to session. We ask that you only register for the sessions you plan to attend. This helps us to ensure that we are able to provide care and a camp experience to as many families as possible. This deposit does go towards camp fees. The remaining balance is due one week before the start of the session.
